We all have things in our homes which need to go. These items take time to sell and the profit is small. Giving them away is easy and generous. Don't forget the "free" sign! You will be amazed what others might want. 

SAFETY FIRST: locate the items in your yard so drivers can easily pull over and retrieve them. Consider allowing the use of your driveway for safety. If the items are near your trash cans make sure they have a "free" sign. "Dumpster-diving" is illegal in some municipalities.

Finding something free along the road is so much fun. With all the informational videos available today, just about anything can be repaired/repurposed and sold. Or there may be someone you know who is in need. SAFETY FIRST: slow down carefully and put on your four-way blinkers when spotting something in a yard. Pull over without damaging the yard and never stop in a high-traffic area. If possible, pull into the driveway. Use great caution when loading the items in your vehicle.
